........................................................Equivalences
A 360 degree image is recorded from one point (the
point where the camera lens is located). This point is the center
of the visual sphere, and from this point, all the elements that
make the visual scene are recorded. The floor, the walls, the
ceiling. It is a kind of visual democracy, where every element
in space is as important as any other. There
is no composition. Everything is recorded. This “democratic”
aspect of the 360 degree image, allows one to blend two or more
Visual Planispheres (because each includes everything) It is a
matter of finding the geometric equivalence of one Visual Planisphere
with another.
The equivalence of planispheres, make it possible to create a
seamless new Planisphere:
A non-existing
360 degree space.
If the Visual Planisphere opens a new perceptual experience, and
a new form of visual representation, then the concept of equivalence
among these Planispheres is an invitation to ponder the hidden
connection of what surrounds us. |
